Middlesex University's Summer School is the largest summer study programme in the UK. It includes nearly 100 courses
drawn from across the university's wide ranging curriculum. The programme runs for six weeks in July and August and
credit earned is easily transferable to most US universities and institutions. Based in the beautiful Trent Park campus,
complete with 950 acres of rolling grounds and an outdoor pool, central London is only 35 minutes away by tube.

Enjoy an unforgettable summer at the world-renowned University of Cambridge. Study for between ten days and six weeks in
surroundings that have inspired generations of scientists, authors, politicians, scholars, actors and explorers. Choose
from over 150 courses in a wide variety of disciplines. Specialist Summer Schools in Art History, History, English
Literature, Medieval Studies, Science and Shakespeare allow you to focus closely on these fields, while two
multi-disciplinary Summer School programmes, Term I and Term II, enable you to select courses from a variety of subject
areas to suit your own interests.
All courses are taught by leading experts in their field, from Cambridge University and beyond. The Summer Schools are
open to participants over the age of 18 from any background. Participants have the opportunity to stay in one of the
Cambridge Colleges, take advantage of a full programme of evening events, spend weekends visiting UK places of interest
such as Windsor, Warwick and London, explore the beautiful and historic city of Cambridge and make new friends from
around the world.

The 8th UCN International Summer School will take place from 9th July to 12th August 2005. Northampton is an historic
town located in central England, less than one hour from London. During your stay with us you will be within easy
travelling distance of many cultural and historic centres and will have the opportunity to visit many of these. In
addition to the wide variety of academic courses offered, a central feature of this summer school is the extensive
and innovative cultural programme. Excursions beyond the campus will take you to important and memorable areas of
Britain, for example Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon, Bath and Cambridge. You will also be able to enjoy our social
programme which includes film and quiz nights, a pub crawl, sports competitions etc. Week three of the programme is
devoted to a field trip with activities related to your studies. Depending on your choice of subjects, you will visit
either London or Florence.

Explore the exciting world of London for a summer, semester or year! Participate in the CCIS (College Consortium for
International Studies) London program at either Thames Valley University or Kingston University. Both universities
offer a wide variety of courses in an exciting environment!
Kingston University has four separate campuses located in central Kingston in Greater London. All campuses are near one
another and connected by a free bus service. The main campus is a 20-minute train ride from the center of London. The
town is a mixture of old and new with a daily open air market as well as chain stores, supermarkets, a shopping mall,
night clubs, discos, and multi-screen cinemas.
Thames Valley University is in Ealing, west London, near attractions like Kew Gardens and Windsor Castle. Ealing offers
convenient transportation to all sections of the city. Within half an hour you can be in Oxford Circus, the center of
London’s shopping district or Convent Garden, the heart of London’s theater district.
The application deadlines for both programs are April 1 for fall semester and November 1 for spring semester. Submit
applications to Montana State University, host program institution.
