Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.
IES London offers a number of challenging summer program options that draw on London's rich resources to offer quality academic study and challenging internship placements. The IES Center is housed in a handsome Georgian terrace building in Bloomsbury Place, the heart of literary London. It is located near many of London's famous museums, galleries, and theaters, which provide ample opportunity for learning outside the classroom.
Highlights: Courses offered in Art History, History, Literature, Theater, and Political Science taught by outstanding British faculty and a distinguished visiting professor from Indiana University. Career oriented internship opportunities with placements in the British Parliament, businesses, and the arts. IES London housing in comfortable, well-equipped apartments in residential areas of central London. IES course-related field study that includes trips to historical and cultural sites in London and attendance at live stage performances at London theaters. |
